Colorful, fresh, sweet, yummy – the smoothie bowl, my absolutely favorite type of breakfast.
I used to pay not too much attention to how my food looked like as long as it tasted. Mornings were the worst though. A banana, some bread or nothing at all. Leaving me hungry before midday.
Browsing Instagram, Pinterest or we heart it brought me to this – the smoothie bowl, which quickly turned into my favorite type of breakfast.
It is more than delicious and keeps you full for long. Best part is you can be as creative as you like. It can be green, pink, cream-colored or even blue. Add the toppings you like and make it look stunning. If you need any inspiration just browse some of the sites I mentioned above and I’m sure you will find something that you like.
The smoothie bowl in the picture above is one that I made, and I love it. If you want to recreate it just follow the ingredient list below.
You are going to need a blender, best would be one that can blend frozen things as well.
– 1 1/2 banana
– 1 handful of frozen (or just slightly frozen) raspberries
– 1 cup of oats
– almond or oat milk (add it slowly to the consistency you like /turn of the blender before you do this)
– 1/2 banana
– coconut flakes
– a few frozen raspberries
– 1 Teaspoon Chiaseeds
That`s it, you are done. It is simple and quick, sweet and refreshing and most of all, it is healthy.
